Is your cupboard always organised?
If your answer is yes, you might be one of those rare people who manage to always keep it neat. Many of us cannot.
Let’s be honest. No one’s wardrobe is perfectly organised all the time. Like any other normal person, we just keep shoving stuff in there, and cleaning it up or organising it once in a while.
But if your cupboard has reached a state where it is impossible even for you to find your stuff in there, there might be a problem. And you need to fix it.
The Internet is awash with suggestions on how to organise your cupboard and what your cluttered cupboard says about your emotional state.
But I won’t walk that road to tell you how you should organise your messy cupboard. Obviously, because that’s not my specialty.
In this post, I am going to tell you how just by looking at someone’s handwriting you can find out whether they have a messy cupboard.
Line spacing & messy cupboard
Many years ago, I had analysed the handwriting of one Mia, a Texas resident. What jumped out of her handwriting was the crowded line spacing. Take a look:
Let’s see what her handwriting in general and the narrow line spacing in particular reveal about her personality.
#1. Overzealous
The most noticeable feature in Mia’s handwriting is the complex line spacing. The lower zone of one line mostly touches the upper zone of the line below.
This type of line spacing in handwriting indicates that Mia often bites more than she can chew. She takes up too many assignments at a time and ties herself in knots.
In fact, it will be a miracle if she manages to finish even half of the tasks she undertakes.
#2. Growing backlog
According to handwriting analysis, this entangled line spacing in Mia’s handwriting also shows that she packs in a number of things in a day and at the end of it, she realises she has finished nothing. The backlog keeps increasing and then she feels she has lagged behind.
Writers of this kind are usually filled with a sense of underachievement, after which they step up the pressure on themselves to perform.
#3. Confusion galore
It is also clear from her handwriting that there are many decisions she has postponed because she is unable to make up her mind about what she wants.
Very often, Mia finds herself spoiled by a cornucopia of choices. Well, it may sound interesting to have plenty of choices before you, but if you’re not sure which one to pick, you are bound to get confused. That’s exactly what is happening with her. She is confused.
#4. Cluttered workspace
The narrow line spacing in Mia’s handwriting indicates that if you visit her home or office, you are likely to find loads of files or papers scattered around. She likes to keep them all in front of herself to make sure she finishes them.
Despite being a capable person, she loses track of her assignments because she does not prioritize or plan.
Leaving one task unfinished, she hops to the other and ends up finishing neither. And then, sometimes, Mia blames others for creating hurdles.
If you find this kind of line spacing in handwriting, you may safely assume that the writer does not believe in keeping things in an organised way. And one indication of that would be a messy cupboard.
#5. Always busy
According to Mia’s handwriting, she likes to keep herself busy all the time primarily because she does not work efficiently. That’s why despite working too hard, she is nowhere near satisfaction.
Sometimes Mia is so busy that she fails to keep important appointments. Not because she is lazy or insincere. Not at all. It’s because she is busy attending to another appointment at the same time.
Final words
My suggestion to Mia was to learn how to prioritize and give a hierarchy to her assignments. Nobody can finish everything at a time. So, what’s wrong with trying one thing at a time?
And she did agree with my analysis, and promised to do some graphotherapy exercises I suggested. A few days after I analysed her handwriting, Mia wrote to me:
Vishwas, what an eyeopener! Yes, you could visualize my piles of reference materials and other unfinished projects. It would be a dream come true to finish one project at least! I will do the graphotherapy exercises suggested by you.
