How handwriting analysis works
As a handwriting analyst, I have a distinct edge when it comes to assessing character and compatibility.
On a first date, I’ll get a signature sample so I can gain some insight into their personality as well as predict our future compatibility. My accuracy level is 100%.
My friends love sending the signatures of their most recent dates and I reply honestly with my findings. Why should they waste time on a person with whom they are inherently incompatible?
One happy hour, while out with friends, we met some cute guys – a gregarious fireman, and a quiet preppy.
After a few pleasantries, my friends revealed my “secret power” and the fireman jumped at the chance to be analysed. He quickly jotted his name (both cursive and printed versions) on a blank piece of paper for me to review, and waited to see how handwriting analysis works.
Like I’d done many times before, I analysed his signature describing his personality traits, relationship with his family, hidden talents, and affinities.
The fireman enthusiastically confirmed my accurate interpretation, and began asking me questions about specific signature elements and their meaning.
As his preppy friend looked on, he became increasingly more anxious – literally squirming in his seat knowing it would soon be his turn.
“You can tell all that from just my signature?” the fireman excitedly asked.
My reply is always the same, “Yes!”
Alarmed by my accuracy during his friend’s analysis, the preppy guy refused to offer up his signature. His body language indicated apprehension, yet his demeanor appeared calm.
Unfortunately, I’ve encountered this behavior before – it’s a red flag – a definite warning someone is hiding something. That’s how handwriting analysis works.
As I had taken a liking to the preppy guy, I pressed him for his signature, thinking my analysis would put his concerns to rest.
Very, very reluctantly he submitted. As I stared at the sample, I realised why he was so unwilling to be analysed. His signature was disturbing – a small, scrawled, incongruous etching…it barely looked like a name!
I couldn’t think of one positive thing to say about it; I stared silently at the paper, each unspoken moment became increasing more awkward.
Then, he leaned closer and eerily whispered in my ear, “told ya”. The two words sent shivers down my spine. We both knew what was hidden in his signature, and it wasn’t good.
With that, he quickly exited the bar. I was both relieved and stunned (once again) at the accuracy of handwriting analysis.
