“The Masks” was one of the scariest, stick-in-your-psyche episodes of the original Twilight Zone. A deathbed request from a rich, dying uncle forced a family of four to wear horrid masks until midnight or forfeit their inheritance. The unsuspecting, yet skeptical mask-wearers didn’t know the deformity would warp their faces permanently, revealing their true, ugly essences to the world.
Dating someone new is eerily similar. You really don’t know the person behind the mask. So, how can we protect our hearts from demons dressed as Ken/Barbie dolls?
Handwriting holds the clues!
Extreme slant
An overall view of the handwriting can tell you whether a person is an introvert (slants backward), extrovert (slants forward), or even-keeled (no slant.) Couple this trait with pen pressure for a deeper understanding.
Pen pressure
Heavy, forceful pressure can be felt through paper, like Braille. It’s evident and obvious. Someone with strong handwriting pressure can be quick to anger, aggressive, or controlling. Light pressure can be either a person who has commitment issues or one who’s just shy and a bit insecure.
Large disconnections
Wide gaps between the first and the last names are a sign of family issues. Logically, the last name represents their family, and their first name represents their place in it. If there’s a large gap between the two, you can rightfully assume they do not have an emotional or logistical closeness with their family. Breaks within their first name are also problematic, especially if they have a short name (less than 6 letters.)
Small, cramped letters
In my experience, crowded lettering can be interpreted as an internal insecurity. This person doesn’t even feel worthy enough to take up space – literally! Cheapness is another possible character trait. They don’t like to waste space or anything else for that matter.
Inconsistent letter size and/0r pressure
Inconsistencies in handwriting demonstrate inconsistencies in life. When there’s no flow, or the handwriting is all over, you are dealing with an unpredictable personality. They tend toward mood swings and impulsivity, creating an unstable environment for those around them. They most likely have difficulty dealing with stress, particularly when things don’t go their way.
Felon’s claw
Saved the scariest for last – this one is undeniable. About 80% of all convicted criminals possess this trait. The felon’s claw is a knife waiting to stab you in the back. This person has mastered the appearance of normal and nice, but they’re anything but. You can easily see the backward arch in lowercase “y,” “g,” and possibly “q” letters. Non-negotiable, this person is untrustworthy and should be avoided at all costs. You can thank me later.
