Bruce Jenner’s signature
Few people missed Diane Sawyer’s interview with Bruce Jenner who openly discussed his transition from male to female. Despite his accomplishments as Olympic decathlete, celebrity, and father of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, this moment has to feel daunting.
For months Jenner has been discretely transitioning his appearance. With only glimpses of the new Bruce available via paparazzi or TMZ, curiosity has reached the point of no return.
For those unaware, analyzing a person’s signature is enormously revealing. Personality details become evident and subtle traits rise to the surface. Bruce Jenner has been signing his name the same way for years. Once he transitions, Jenner will have a new first name and thus, a new signature.
What Bruce Jenner’s signature reveals:
* Optimism
* Privacy
* Stability
Optimism is evidenced by the upward angle of Bruce Jenner’s signature. Nearly all of his autographs are signed from the bottom left to the upper right – a sure sign of a person who is always challenging themselves and believing the outcome will be positive.
Privacy is noted in signatures that blur one or both names. Both Jenner’s first and last names are flattened, thereby making them difficult to discern. Generally speaking, those who choose to skew their name are trying to remain private. Unfortunately for Jenner, privacy is not an option.
Baselines are a major aspect of handwriting analysis. When a name is written on unlined paper, the baseline becomes even more apparent. Jenner’s baselines are near perfect which indicates a stable, down-to-earth person.
In Bruce Jenner’s signature, the first name is intertwined with his last, which means he has a close connection to his family. The “J” is loopy, but closed, indicating a large personal circle of confidants, but closed to those outside. The “B” is smaller than the “J” which designates a “living up to expectations” vibe.
Changing his name at this juncture of his life will open an avenue of freedom. Signing a new name will generate fresh energy that will birth new paths on his journey. As Jenner so aptly put it, “My whole life has been getting me ready for this.”
